I am Ms. Cravens, and I teach English for Speakers of Other Languages. I also support many of our newcomers to the US and work with families to develop their graduation plans and plan out future goals.

My ESOL and Sheltered Reading classes are designed for students who are learning English at a beginner or intermediate level. I also provide support for identified English students - Emergent Bilingual students - by working with their teachers. As with all Tigers, our goal- is to provide meaningful support so that all our students move forward to great things. 

I have worked extensively with learners of English as a Second Language and with newcomers to the United States, all ages and many backgrounds. I have worked with ESL programs and schools in Mexico, and in public schools in the US. 

This year, will also be working with our newly-formed International Students Club to support their goals to promote activities that celebrate the diversity of learners in our Tiger fam. 

I look forward to getting to know my students and their families. This is my eighth year at Travis, and it is always - A Great Day to Be a Travis Tiger!
