Graduated from Westchester High School, in Spring Branch ISD in 1979.

Attended Sam Houston State University and participated in the original LaCrosse Team for four years. Graduated after six years after settling on a career in coaching and teaching. Also coached one year at Mance Park Jr High in Huntsville ISD.

Seven years at Memorial Parkway Jr High in Katy ISD. Next, spent Twelve years at James E. Taylor (Katy Taylor) in Katy ISD.

Teaching: 8th Grade U.S. History, World History, and U.S. History in high school.  Coaching: Football, Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys and Girls Track, and Boys and Girls Golf.

Spent the next Fifteen years in Waller ISD. Teaching: Texas History, World History, Government, Economics, Personal Finance Literacy, Psychology, and Sociology. Coaching: Football, Baseball, Boys and Girls Track, and Boys and Girls Power Lifting.

Starting year number 40 this year as a Football and Track coach and teaching Government.

Starting 6th year at Travis

Live in Katy, with wife and two dogs. Wife is a Counselor at Cinco Ranch Jr High in Katy, We have a daughter, who is an Elementary teacher in Fort Bend ISD
