My name is Major Hunt, the Senior Marine Instructor and this is my seventh year at William B. Travis High School. I decided to make Texas my home several years ago after more than 26 years of service in the United States Marine Corps, and chose to work with the JROTC program because I enjoyed my experience with educating and training Marines who were new to the Corps. I am happy to be a part of the Travis High School family and I know that with the support of interested parents, staff members, and a strong community, I will be able to continue my passion for teaching and mentoring our future leaders. My goal is to help every student reach their potential beyond what they can imagine.
