Ms. Vashon Lewis

Greetings! I am a Career and Technical Education (CTE) - Business, Marketing & Finance teacher and the FBISD International Business and Marketing Academy Teacher Facilitator. During the 2024-2025 academic year, I will teach Principles of Business, Marketing and Finance; Business Management; Global Business; and Virtual Business.

I am a born and raised, native Houstonian. I received both my Bachelor of Science in Marketing with Sales Concentration and my Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with Print Concentration from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Go Jags!

Prior to my career in education, I was employed by 3M, Aramark, NPD Group and Shell Lubricants, in brand management, marketing, marketing research, and professional sales roles.  I taught English as a Second Language in Spain for three years and taught Business and Marketing - Career and Technical Education (CTE) in FBISD at Bush High School from 2013 to 2016.

Fall 2016 marked the start of my career at Travis High School, where I have enjoyed teaching to date. I'm excited to be a part of the Travis Tiger Family!
