I am a graduate of Dulles High School, Class of '98. I spent a few years in the private sector and obtained my History-Humanities with Secondary Teacher Certification at University of Houston-Victoria in 2007. I have taught AP US History at Travis since 2007 and AP European History since 2010. I have a multitude of hobbies including, enjoying music, playing my bass guitar, table-top games of varying complexity and scope, and enjoying a plethora of crafts.

Here at Travis, I sponsor the following clubs...

☆ Table Top Gaming Club - This is a club that focuses on table top, non-digital games; including chess, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, etc. We generally meet on Wednesdays from 2:45-5:00.

☆ Ultimate Frisbee Club - This is a non-UIL athletic club where I help the kids learn the team sport of Ultimate Frisbee. We play outside (weather permitting). Athletic attire, cleats, and water are greatly recommended. We generally meet on Thursdays from 2:45-4:00.

☆ Open Arms Club - This is a safe space for everyone, but particularly the LGBTQ+ community. We talk about our community's history, different identities, current issues in the community, as well as provide volunteer opportunities to help out our community. Everyone is welcome to join! We meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month after school until about 4:00.
