Merhaba,

Welcome to Travis, Home of the Tigers. Ms. Shelling and I are your CTE Engineering teachers on campus. During the 2025-2026 academic year, I will teach the 10th-12th Engineering courses in the pathway. This will also be my second year as the CTE Department Chair.

2019-2020 marked the start of my education journey at Travis High School and I consider myself lucky to be in this role and a part of this family. In addition, I am proud to be a member of FBISD, home to more than 90 languages and dialects spoken.

I am a husband and father - these two executive roles are second to none. I received my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wichita State University. Prior to my career in education, I was a Product Design Engineer at Textron Aviation for 7 years (including internship), designing access panels on wing tips, hydraulic installations, redesigning flight control rigging tools and drafting wire routing installations. I also worked in Oil and Gas Industry designing sampling and instrumentation systems and probe assemblies for crude oil, natural gas and light liquids. The sampling equipment was designed to draw a sample from the center of the pipeline and maintain its pipeline conditions during transportation for lab analysis.

I am looking forward to a productive, empowering and exciting school year at Travis! 

I am an avid soccer fan, in particular Arsenal Football Club. Let's talk all things soccer - UEFA Champions League, English Premier League, La Liga, Italian Serie A, etc. I also enjoy woodworking, baking, DIY projects, playing basketball, and traveling. FIFA World Cup is just around the corner!
