  • Academic Decathlon is a national academic competition with ten events, which challenge students on their knowledge of an annual theme.  This competition is a marathon of knowledge testing a competitor's dedication, determination, and motivation to excel.  This year's theme is Our Changing Climate.  Students leave decathlon with cohesive knowledge on a central theme, and are better peer-leaders, learners, and learn interview skills for the job market.

     

    The Competition Team:

    The team is created, dividing students into three divisions, based on their unweighted GPA in their core courses. 

    Honors 4.00-3.80

    Scholastic 3.79-3.20

    Varsity 3.199-0.00

    Three members of our team may compete at each level for the competition team.
