Bonjour! Bonjour! Bonjour!. Welcome to FRENCH!  I do hope you enjoy my class.  I like to make the lessons engaging with lots of talking and various other ways of practicing the language; therefore, class participation is a must.

I love teaching languages as well as learning about other languages and cultures.  In my class you should expect the following type of activities: Writing, Speaking, Listening Comprehension, Reading Comprehension, vocabulary games, and verb conjugation games.

I have been working at Travis H.S. since the building opened in 2007; I love our campus and the new colors and designs it has.  I taught Spanish for 12 years and this year will be my fifth year teaching French; a dream come true for me!.  My interest in the French language began when I was in High School, just like you!.  I then continued learning the language in college here in the United States and in (Quebec) Canada.  I also put my new learned language to use while doing an Internship in France.  

I have a Bachelor degree from the University of Houston and a Master degree from the University of St.Thomas.  In the near future I hope to continue my studies by pursuing a Doctor of Modern Languages degree.

Last, I'm a proud Service Member of our Armed Forces.  I enjoy both teaching and serving....helping others, protecting those in need, speaking different languages, playing the violin, and dancing are all passions of mine!
