Hi everyone! I'm originally from New York State, and have a love for the specialties that arise from the density of an older urban environment. My background is in architectural design and education. I worked in the luxury residential and commercial sides of architecture, having worked on large projects such as LAX, HOU, and IAH airport systems, and homes from 1,600 to 20,000 square feet around the world. As an educator, I've had the great pleasure of teaching English Pre-AP/AP, Photography 1, 2, 3, ADV, and AP Portfolio, and now Architectural Design Principles, 1, and 2.

I have my Bachelor of Architecture and Environmental Design, as well as, my Master of Education in CUIN - Learning, Design, Technology from the University of Houston.

Aside from work, I love to travel (without a schedule) domestically and internationally. My favorite locations have been Kyoto, Japan and Obertrum am See, Austria (I plan to retire there). I look forward to teaching the GBHS students as much about the real world of architectural design as possible, and hope they gain a new respect and understanding of what it takes to design beautiful and effective spaces.
