My name is Lisa Karki. I teach physics and IPC at George Bush High School. I chose to teach science because as a young child I was always interested in natural world and I value spending my leisure time outside in the nature with my siblings and friends. Also to know about natural world, I got my Bachelors of Science from University of Houston-Downtown. I want to teach what I've learned in higher education to high school students. I also emphasize placing high school students in STEM field due to shortage of students pursing their career in science field. Hopefully, by teaching general level science class, my future students will find science thrilling and land in a science related careers.
