My name is Jacqueline Davila, and I am excited to be teaching AP Pre-Calculus and Calculus AB/BC this year at George Bush High School, where I have been a proud educator for seven years. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Studies from Houston Baptist University, which I earned in 2018. My teaching journey began with four years of Geometry, and this will mark my third-year teaching Calculus and Pre-Calculus.

This past summer, I had the honor of serving as an AP Reader for College Board for the AP Pre-Calculus exam, an experience that enriched my understanding and will inform my approach to helping students succeed in their AP exams. I am deeply passionate about mathematics, especially the underlying proofs that reveal the "why" behind the concepts. In my classroom, I integrate a variety of tools and technologies to differentiate instruction and ensure all learners can engage with the material at their own pace and keeping in step with the rapid advancements in technology that shape our world.

Outside of teaching, I love watching television shows and movies. I'm an avid follower of the Premier League and a dedicated fan of the Astros (Go 'Stros!). I also have a beloved 7-year-old “dogther”, whom I spoil daily. My friends and I share a passion for travel and hiking, and we've been fortunate to explore a range of incredible destinations, including Switzerland, Iceland, New Zealand, Morocco, many US National Parks, and beyond!
