Hola! My name is David Medrano Torres. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and a minor in History from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I am originally from Monterrey, NL. Mexico. I recently moved to Houston from Edinburg, Texas, part of the Mcallen Area in Hidalgo County. I love Houston because of its cultural diversity. I have been teaching Spanish and also worked with the Life Skills unit of the Special Ed department for two years and my third year as Spanish Teacher at George Bush High School. My students motivate me to be a better teacher every day, and I truly believe they are the future of tomorrow. My goal is for my students to graduate with a distinguished program, passionate about dominating the Spanish language, and be successful in life. I want to fulfill their needs and enrich their knowledge by guiding them towards the path to a better future and for productivity for their communities. Education opens doors for the impossible, and I am privileged to help build their tomorrow.
