Mrs. Felicia Murray

Greetings,

I am a native Louisianian, but have been living in Texas for the past 24 years. I have been teaching at George Bush High School for 11+ years, and I am also the Career and Technical Education Department Chair. I am a Grambling State University and a Louisiana Tech University graduate, with degrees in Child Development and Child Life & Family Studies. I have a plethora of experience helping young people of all ages, especially since I worked for Children’s Protective Services and other foster care/adoption agencies prior to my educational career.  The courses that I currently teach are Principles of Human Services, Human Growth & Development, Counseling & Mental Health, and Family & Community Services.

I love spending time with my family, as well as cooking, traveling, music/concerts, and socializing with friends. I enjoy teaching students about "real world" experiences and look forward to sharing my knowledge, hoping to make a positive impact on young lives.
