The 2024-25 school year marks my 17^th year in education. I am originally from Houston, Texas. I attended schools in HISD, Spring Branch, and Alief, where I graduated from Elsik High School.

After graduating with my B.S. in Biology from the University of Houston, I decided to pursue education and received my M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from UH. 

I am half Guatemalan and half Iranian. I speak Farsi (Persian) fluently, and I understand Spanish well. I’ve been married for 17 years and have 2 amazing girls.

I enjoy doing a lot of scientific experiments and exploring the world around us. I look forward to helping students gain a greater passion for Forensics, hopefully leading to careers they may become passionate about pursuing.
