I am a 1986 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and retired after 30 years of Naval Service. 

I served in various positions from Division Officer to Executive Office on the following ships: USS FRANCIS HAMMOND (FF 1067); USS FAHRION (FFG 22); USS ARDENT (MCM 12); USS GLADIATOR (MCM 13); & USS COMSTOCK (LSD 45).  I was assigned to the staff of Commander, Third Fleet embarked on the USS CORONADO (AGF 11).  I commanded Mine Countermeasures Division 31 in Bahrain.

Ashore, I was assigned as an instructor at the US Naval Academy and as a staff officer at the Naval Mine and Anti-Submarine Warfare Command and the US Strategic Command Center for Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction.  Additionally, I attended the Naval Postgraduate School and National War College.

I am in my ninth year as a Naval Science Instructor.
