Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelor in Communication Science
I am a Spanish teacher at Bush High School. I've been teaching Spanish for 4 years and working for education for 6. I was born in Brownsville, Texas, right to the Mexican border, where I grew up between 2 cultures: Mexican-American.
I graduated from Universidad Valle del Bravo in Mexico, and earned my bachelor's degree in Communications. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a TV and radio anchor at my local news station. Years later, I found another passion, which is teaching and guiding my students to learn a new language and the Hispanic culture.
I'm happily married and have 2 kids. I enjoy traveling and visiting new places with my family.
I am looking forward to teaching my students the wonders of Hispanic culture and language. I am excited to spend the 2024-2025 school year with these amazing students.
