Hi Everyone,

I am Kristyn Zepeda, and I am happy to be here at George Bush High School serving the Social Studies Department teaching Government and Economics. This is also my first year serving as Student Council sponsor. I originally got my start in the district serving as an Instructional Aide in the SPED Department at Kempner High School. I've had amazing growth as an educator here in Fort Bend ISD, and hope to continue along that path.

I have always called Houston home. I am a proud K-12 graduate of Aldine ISD schools, graduating from Eisenhower High School.  I attended the University of Houston, earning a B.S. in Health. I am the mother to 4 AMAZING children, who are graduates and students of Fort Bend ISD schools. I was a stay-at-home mother for years, and involved in every aspect of their lives. From Little League to Girl Scouts and the PTA, if it had to do with my children, I had some hand in it. I chose to go into the field of education after doing so for so many years.

I am incredibly excited to be back at George Bush this year working with senior students. I would not have it any other way! They are such a special group of students as they prepare to leave the halls of GBHS and go onto bigger and better things. I look forward to working with the students and parents of Bush High School this year!
