Hello! I am Coach Javian Thornton, and I am so excited to start my 21st year in education, all at Bush High School.  I teach Health, and I am the Varsity Football Defensive Coordinator and Freshman Boys basketball coach.  I am dedicated to educating and mentoring youth in the same community that I grew up in.  I am a graduate of Fort Bend Austin High School where I also played football and ran track.  Upon graduating from AHS I attended William Penn University where I played football and received my BA in Liberal Arts. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.
