Teacher Information
Mrs. Kimberly Cain
Hello! My name is Kimberly Cain, and this is my 21st year teaching and 13th year at Travis High School. Prior to moving to Travis High School, I taught in Fort Bend at Hightower and Marshall High Schools. I also spent two years living and teaching English in Japan.
I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Geography and was a member of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the National Geography Honor Society.
I am married and have two daughters. As a family, we love to travel, exploring new places and learning about different cultures.
I currently teach AP Human Geography and AAC World Geography. I believe that Geography, specifically Human Geography, is the missing piece that puts it all together to help understand the “big picture” of the world, its people, and history.
I am the Global Studies Academy Site Coordinator and have worked with GSA since it arrived at Travis 10 years ago. I am also the sponsor of Model UN.
I love working with GSA and Model UN students and the opportunity these afford me to work with students who are globally minded.
I love being a Travis Tiger. We really are a family - with the most amazing students and staff!
I am so excited about meeting all of my new students this year!
Today, and always, It's a GREAT day to be a Travis Tiger!
