All About Ms. Shelling

Hi everyone! My name is Ms. Imani Shelling, and I’m so excited to be part of the Travis High School family! I’ve been teaching for 5 years, and for the past 3 years, I’ve had the joy of teaching Engineering. I love inspiring students to think creatively, problem-solve, and believe in the power of their ideas.

Outside of school, life is full and happy; I’m a proud mom to a sweet 1-year-old son who keeps me on my toes! When I’m not teaching or chasing toddler giggles, I love to cook, sing, and yes… I truly enjoy my naps! My favorite foods are pizza and oysters (a fun mix of comfort food and something fancy).

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Science from Stephen F. Austin State University—Axe ’Em Jacks!
