Journalism I

Journalism I students are introduced to the exciting world of print and online media. Students will learn investigative skills,responsible reporting and journalism writing techniques. In addition, students will learn the law, ethics and the history of journalism which will complement the major units of study.

Students will develop expertise in: Reporting, writing, editing, photography, advertising, design, management and teamwork.

Participation: All students will be required to participate in order to ensure success in this class. Flexibility, punctuality, team work, and dedication are all qualities that will be needed throughout this course.
