Master's of Education Secondary Science & Use of Technology in Teaching EdD candidate (Dec 24?)

Mr. Michael Ashleman

You might say I am a high-mileage model because I have traveled extensively worldwide.   In addition to teaching at the university level and in other U.S. high schools, I taught for ten years overseas in China and a year in Dubai.  I have a Master of Science in Education from Peru State College, where I lived and taught for years. I am working on the data collection for my education doctorate, so I have homework, too.   I love all things science and science fiction.  I also taught IB and AP and wrote some of the curricula.  My two boys keep me busy when I am not at school.

My assigned extension is 92129, which translates into 281-329-2129 for off-campus calls. Email is probably the fastest way to leave a message, as I am teaching during the day.

Remind code Physics = @ashphysics, Astronomy = AshAstro

Please use the Schoology site for Physics and Astronomy Course information, which is linked with assignments, calendar dates, and interim grades.  Skyward has the official grades and is often a day or so behind for sync. It is the final word on grades on cut-off days for reporting and terms.

  • On Tuesday and Wednesday, from 3:00 (After school duty at 2:45) to 4:30 (ish) I am generally here for tutoring.  Please let me know if you are coming, because if nobody shows up or makes a reservation, then I will be leaving when I get done with any other task I have to do that day.  On Wednesday there could be staff meetings. I will post a note on my class door on staff meeting days or other conflicts.  If you need another time slot, see me for a reservation, as I am often around after school.
