Bachelors of Science

Mrs. Dnira Logan

As an educator, leader, and U.S. Marine Corps veteran, my work is grounded in a strong commitment to student growth and behavioral support. I hold a Bachelor of Science in General Studies with an emphasis in Behavioral Science and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Project Management, allowing behavioral expertise and strategic leadership to work hand in hand in educational settings.

Currently serving as Special Education Department Head and a Behavior Support Services (BSS) Teacher, my focus is on leading with structure, compassion, and a student-centered approach to supporting students with complex needs. I am honored to have been named 2025–2026 Teacher of the Year at Ferndell Henry Elementary School.

Beyond the classroom, experience as an award-winning cheer coach has reinforced the importance of discipline, teamwork, and confidence-building in student development. Service as a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, including one combat deployment, continues to shape a resilient, mission-driven approach to leadership.

Professional experience also includes teaching students internationally in Thailand and Japan, which has strengthened a culturally responsive and globally informed teaching philosophy.
