Hi, my name is Ms. Zapata and I teach art! I graduated from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Rope' em! I have been an artist for 12+ years and a teacher for 6. I am a co-sponsor for the Willowridge Art Club and a member of the Texas Art Education Association. I am passionate about building students' confidence in their artistic skills, empowering them to take ownership in their learning, and fostering critical thinking skills they can utilize in endeavors beyond the classroom. In my class, I see every student's creative potential and tailor our projects and activities to their academic needs and their artistic interests.
