Ms. Herbert begins her fifth year in Fort Bend ISD as a P-TECH instructor and 18th year overall as an educator. While teaching all levels of high school English, Ms. Herbert has also coached boys and girls basketball, served as the UIL Journalism coach and taught AVID as well as Newspaper on different campuses. She has been named a First Year Teacher as well as a Teacher of the Year in previous districts. She uses her sports writing background to serve as a backdrop for teaching effective communication skills to our students so that they may positively contribute to our global society.
