I am a graduate of Texas Southern University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre/Cinema. I continued my education at the University of Houston, earning a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Acting. My teaching career began in 1998 with Houston ISD, before joining FBISD in 2006 as a Theatre teacher at Thurgood Marshall High School. While there, I joined the football staff as a Wide Receiver coach and video editor, sponsored the spelling Bee, Academic Decathlon clubs and assisted with Speech & Debate. My career path continued at Missouri City Middle School where I built a prominent Television Broadcast program, while teaching Theatre and completing my Principal Leadership Internship. When an opportunity to join the Willowridge staff became available, I was thrilled to accept the next phase in my career. 

Since being here at Willowridge HS, I have had eight years of successful experience with the Theatre program and the campus stakeholders. Our students have garnered numerous Theatre nominations and awards. This 2021 spring semester, consists of one of our students advancing to the Regional August Wilson Monologue Contest, During the UIL One Act Play Zone and District Competitions, students won All-Star Cast Member Awards, All-Star Honorable Mention Awards and an Outstanding Technician Award.

We are moving to achieve even greater goals.
