Hello, my name is Olivia Henry, and I am thrilled to serve as the Dance Teacher and Assistant Director for Fort Bend ISD at Willowridge High School. With over a decade of experience in education and directing award-winning dance teams, I am passionate about helping students discover their confidence, creativity, and unique voice through movement.

I began my teaching career at Westchester Academy for International Studies, where I rebuilt and grew the dance program, directed the Westchester Dance Team, and fostered strong connections with families and the community. Now at WHS, I am excited to continue creating an environment where students not only develop technical skills but also build resilience, teamwork, and self-expression.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that dance is for everyone. Whether you are stepping into the studio for the first time or preparing for advanced performance opportunities, I am committed to guiding you with support, structure, and encouragement.

Outside of teaching, I love getting active, journaling and reading or anything that fuels growth and inspiration. Most of all, I am grateful to be part of my students’ journeys, watching them thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
