I have spent the past 17 years working as a classroom educator. My experience in education has taught me that students do not care about what you know until they know that you care.

I began my undergraduate studies at Hampton University as a member of the Women’s Basketball team.  After becoming overwhelmed and not understanding how to navigate college life, I walked away from a full scholarship.  This experience is what has created my passion for helping disadvantaged students prepare for life after high school.
