Hello, my name is Ms. Christal Owens. Welcome to P-Tech AAC Chemistry! As an Alumni of Willowridge High School, it is with great pleasure that I pay it forward. I am in my 24th year of teaching as a science educator. I am also our Science Department Chair, PALS Coordinator, Science Fair Coordinator and WHS Campus Student Leadership Coordinator. I received my Bachelor's of Science degree from TSU, extended Science Composite Certification from University of Houston and I also received my Master's of Education in both Education Administration and Curriculum & Instruction from Concordia University of Texas in Austin.

I am a firm believer that my role as a teacher/coordinator/department chair impacts our future. Our children are our future. They need to be nurtured, encouraged and provided an educational environment that is safe and effective. I believe that all students are capable of learning and achieving any given objective, if given the proper tools to be successful. I embrace all learning styles, and I am constantly seeking instructional strategies that will produce positive results.  Let's Go Eagles!!
