The Illustrious Enchanting Wings Dance Team was founded in 1980, and is a competitive, disciplined, hardworking dance team in Houston, Texas. The Wings are dedicated to promoting school spirit, as they strive for excellence in dance, and set an academic and behavioral example for fellow students at Willowridge High School at all times. The dance team is comprised of 9th-12th grade students who perform at various events throughout the City of Houston, including the Fort Bend County Fair Parade, the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo Black Heritage Day, and the City of Houston Veteran's Day Celebration. The Enchanting Wings Dance Team participates in the UIL Marching Contest and US Bands Marching Competitions in collaboration with the Willowridge High School Mighty Eagle Marching Band.  In 2022, the Mighty Eagle Marching Band and Enchanting Wings Dance Team made history by receiving a Division I rating at the Region 13 UIL Marching Contest.  This was the first Division I rating and Area Marching Contest performance since 2008.

In addition, the Wings compete annually at dance competitions, and have won numerous awards at the regional, state, and national levels.  In 2021, the Enchanting Wings, were the Crowd Pleasers Dance Overall National Small Team Select Grand Champion, and Small Team Modern Overall National Champion. 

The Enchanting Wings Dance Team is supported by Willowridge High School Alumni and community members.
