My name is Dena Garcia, and this is my 16th year at Travis! I was the THS Teacher of the Year in 2013! I am the JV volleyball coach.

I am a product of Fort Bend (Kemper HS)! I graduated from the University of Houston. Go Coogs! My husband is a sports photographer (Texas Game Day) and a retired Navy chief. I am a mom of 2 adult children (one is a teacher)! I've been the campus assessment coordinator for the past 9 years, and I'm so excited to be back in the classroom teaching the best subject!!  I look forward to a great school year with my amazing students!!
