Ms. Antaki

"Everything has a cause, and the cause of anything is everything."  Historian Walter J. Turner

Hello!  My name Lisa Antaki and I’ll be your instructor for the next two semesters (US History 1301 and 1302) I’m from a lot of places. I was born in Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma but spent most of my life moving from military base to military base. I went to graduate school University of Texas in San Antonio, Texas. I have been teaching US History on the secondary and collegiate level for 20 years.  It is great fun to introduce students to aspects of history that have great influence on their lives.  Our course work begins in 1400s at the Age of Discovery and continues to "The Modern Era".  We view US history from the colonization of the North America to the present, enabling students to predict trends in politics, culture, and national events.
