Ms. Wagner-Moton began her teaching career in 2002 after graduating from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a Minor in Dance.  She has been teaching in public school at both the middle school and high school level for 12 years.  Dance has been her passion her whole life, and she looks forward to sharing her love for the art form with her students this upcoming school year.

Ms. Wagner-Moton focused on ballet most of her childhood and studied at ballet schools across the country during her elementary and middle school years.  She studied at the Houston Ballet Academy on a full scholarship where she honed her skills as a strong technical dancer and performer.  When she began high school, she shifted her focus to drill team and joined the La Porte High School Chatos.  She excelled on the Chatos Drill Team and became a dance officer.  She was also awarded first place for her solo for consecutive years.  The skills and diversity she learned in high school led her to continue her education in college and become a certified dance teacher.  Her goal is to encourage her students to become strong, well-rounded technical dancers with a focus on continuing their education.
