    WHS Level Down Request

    Level Change Window Opens September 3, 2024 and Closes October 25, 2024

     

    Due to enrollment and staff limitations, requests to drop a level should only be made for students with an average of 74 or below.  Requests will be granted on a space available basis only provided that certain specifications are met.

    The following must have happened before requesting a level down form: 

    • parent/teacher/student conference has occurred

    • student has no zeros 

    • student has attended tutorials

    • a plan for success has been developed and implemented by the teacher and student

    The district defines success in an AP or AAC course as a grade of 75 or above.  Please see full district guidelines HERE (page 139).  

    NOTE:  A level change may require teacher, class period, or lunch changes in addition to the original request.  

     

    No student will be automatically granted a level change.  Requests will be approved or denied on a case by case basis.
