I am excited to be a Willowridge Eagle and to be a part of the spirit and tradition of the campus and community. I began my teaching career in 2004. During the early years of my career, I worked in both Cypress-Fairbanks ISD and Katy ISD as a middle school math teacher and a middle school math curriculum coach.  In 2011, I transitioned to Royal ISD in Brookshire, TX where I utilized my expertise to serve the students and community in a variety of roles.  During my time in Royal, I served as a K – 12 Math and Science Instructional Specialist and High School Instructional Specialist over all content areas.  As I expanded my professional experience, I moved into campus administration serving as Junior High Assistant Principal, Dean of Instruction at the high school, and finally as High School Associate Principal. 

 

I am a native Houstonian and attended schools in Humble and Aldine ISDs, graduating from Aldine Eisenhower High School.  From there, I attended Texas A&M University where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration specializing in Business Management with an emphasis in Pre-Law.  This background has allowed me to demonstrate professional leadership while working with teachers and staff.  I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University in 2011 and my Superintendent Certification in 2023. 

 

I believe that all students deserve the best education, and I will work with teachers and staff to ensure the students of Willowridge High School are receiving the education they deserve.  In my free time I enjoy supporting my sons in their extra-curricular activities, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
