Dr. Danielle Jackson
Dr. Danielle Olivier Jackson is proud to serve as the campus principal of Kempner High School. Prior to becoming an administrator, Dr. Jackson was an English teacher, department chair, content specialist, and instructional coach. Dr. Jackson received her Bachelor's degree in political science and Master's degree in English from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Go Big Red! She received her PhD in curriculum & instruction from Oklahoma State University. Go Pokes!
In 2019, Dr. Jackson was named assistant principal of the year for Region IV. In 2020, she was named the TASSP assistant principal of the year for the state of Texas. She currently serves as the region 4B representative for TASSP as well as the assistant regional coordinator.
In 2022, Dr. Jackson received the outstanding alumni award from Oklahoma State University. She was also featured on the principals of success podcast which feature female leaders in education: https://lnns.co/UT2DEda4pOt
In 2023, Dr. Jackson was recognized by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) with the Diversity Leadership Award. This award is given to a campus leader who embraces diversity and drives diversity education amongst the students, parents and community at large in the state of Texas
In 2024, the FBISD Athletics Department named Dr. Jackson the high school principal of the year at the FAB awards.
Prior to coming to Kempner HS, Dr. Jackson served as an administrator at Ridge Point HS and Marshall HS.
Dr. Jackson believes in the power of education and the opportunities education can provide students.
