Hello, my name is Don Jones and I am a 7th grade Texas History teacher here at Ronald Thornton Middle School. I am a graduate from Sam Houston State University where I studied Communications and Public Relations and I have a  Masters Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. I began my teaching career 14 years ago in Galena Park ISD. This will be my 9th year here in Fort Bend ISD. I want my students to understand that history is all around us and that they need to use history as a way to connect to our society as a whole and be good citizens.
