Greetings parents and students. I am excited to be a new member of the Thundercat family! I have been in education for over 13 years and have taught middle and high school Mathematics. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Louisiana Tech University and worked in the industry for 10 years as a Revenue Analyst, Financial Analyst, and Mortgage Broker. I earned my teaching certificate and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Louisiana Christian University, and I am currently pursuing a dual masters as a School Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am originally from Alexandria, Louisiana, but I have been living in Houston since 2017. I am a mom of two children ages 18 and 24, and a 6-month-old kitten.  My goal is to meet and reach each of my students where they are and help them to GROW. I want to ensure math students have a strong foundation, and they finish the year stronger and more confident in Math.  I look forward to building great relationships with both the students and the parents!
