Mr. Wilford (Trey) Davis

My name is Mr. Davis, and I am an 8th Grade U.S. History Teacher here at Ronald Thornton Middle School. I have been here at RTMS since its opening in 2018. Prior to moving to the Social Studies Department, I taught 6th Grade Math at RTMS for 6 years. I graduated from Texas Southern University in Houston with a Bachelors in Liberal Arts, and then, obtained my teaching certification. I am also currently finishing my Master of Divinity Degree at Kairos University. Prior to coming to Fort Bend ISD, I taught for eight years in Houston ISD (Math, Science, and Social Studies), and six years in Stafford Municipal School District, (ELA, Math). 

I have been married to my wife LaToya for 23 years, and we have 2 amazing daughters; Meghan, who is a senior at Ridge Point HS this year and Kirstyn, who is an 8th grader at RTMS. 

I am proud to be a RTMS Thundercat and look forward to having a great 2024-25 school year!
