Mr. Ryan Sentell
I am thrilled to be at Thornton Middle School to teaching ELA, on level and ACC. During my life, I have held many positions from being a GM for Outback Steakhouse, a chemical operator for Stolt Neilson and director of sales for Willbanks.These positions created a love for learning, I knew where I needed to be and left my career as sales director to come back to my passion.
Originally from Indiana, I moved to Texas in the 8th grade and graduated from Pearland High School. I graduated from University of Clear Lake, and from Lamar University with my master’s in administration in Education. My wife Andrea and I both share a love for education as she is a 4th grade teacher at DLE. We have two children, my son Ethan and my daughter Kinsley. In our free time, we love to be outdoors appreciating nature, going for walks with our dogs and enjoying our time together.
I am looking forward to an awesome year with my students.
