My name is Ray Batiste, and I have wanted to be a teacher and coach ever since my 7th grade school year. I am from New Orleans La, and I ended up going to 3 different high schools in 3 different states, Louisiana, Texas, finally graduating in Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduating from high school, I played Division 1 college football at Kent State University. After Kent State, I enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Being honorably discharged, I finished my undergrad degree at the University of Houston. This is my 10th year coaching and teaching.
