Hello, I am Kenan White, This is my 8th year working in education, & I am one of the original (OG) staff members at Ronald Thornton. I received my Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Southern University in New Orleans where I was a student athlete and where I was born & raised. I am part of the successful traditions while coaching football, basketball & soccer here at Thornton. I moved to Houston from New Orleans 7 years ago after teaching and coaching on the middle/high school levels. I have also worked in the juvenile educational system in New Orleans & with CPS in Harris County. I enjoy eating, cooking & exploring different cultures and traditions. I really enjoy being outside in all seasons with nature (but not this summer). I also enjoy listening to music & watching great movies and documentaries with my kids. 

I am excited to continue my journey here as a faculty member & coach while assisting students to pursue their educational & extra cirriculum needs & goals.
