I am a Texas Science Certified teacher with experience teaching science (grades 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10, 11 and 12) in state and out of state. As a university professor, I had the privilege of teaching nursing, microbiology and human anatomy and physiology. For several years, I continued in the field as an instructional coach - helping my teachers to raise the state's standardized test scores and I am proud to say: " We did it". As a member of an educator’s family,  I trained myself to do this job with passion and perseverance. Knowing that each day is a new opportunity to grow and shine. 

Science is my passion, as biology is my love. My first experience as a researcher was the science fair - winning for 2 years and finally holding position #4 in my state/territory. So, now I encourage my students to participate in the science fair. That experience prepared me to work as a researcher at the Neurobiology Institute. Finally, I have gone back to my original profession after studying medicine. Once you are a teacher, you will be forever. The passion drives me to be an educator
