Ms. Wilson

Welcome to Ms. Wilson's 7th grade English Language Arts and Reading class. I am proud to be a part of Ronald Thornton Middle School as one of our amazing ELA teachers. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with an English minor from the University of Houston and am a Fort Bend ISD graduate from Ridge Point High School. I am certified in English Language Arts and Reading/Social Studies 4-8, ESL Supplemental, and Science of Teaching Reading along with FBISD's Gifted and Talented. Reading and writing are practiced skills that must be continually exercised in order to be maintained or strengthened. Students will be encouraged to reach their greatest potential as readers and writers this year, and my ultimate goal as an English teacher is for all my students to succeed in strengthening their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. During my spare time, I enjoy reading thrillers, comic books, and journalistic reporting. We are going to have a terrific school year. Thunder PRIDE Never Dies!
