My name is Ashley Clift and I am so excited to be the assistant band director here at Baines! 

I graduated from Fort Bend ISD in 2004. After graduation, I went to Texas Tech University in Lubbock (Go Red Raiders!) After college, I went on to teach in Pearland ISD for 12 years; I am currently in my 16th year of teaching.  My primary instrument is the clarinet, although I have experience teaching all band instruments.  I currently live in Sienna with my husband, who is a band director at Hightower High School, our two children, Brooke and Max, and our three cats.  

I am passionate about teaching music to young people and believe that band teaches valuable life skills.  As a Fort Bend ISD graduate, I am looking forward to continuing the tradition of amazing fine arts programs and wildly successful students!
