Hi, my name is Laura (Katie) Schladt. I have been a proud BMS Longhorn since 2008. I have taught 6^th grade science the whole time and I absolutely love it.

I attended Fort Bend ISD schools, and I am so glad that I have the opportunity to teach so close to home. I graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Exercise Sports Science. I am the proud mother of 2 children with my husband, Eric. I have a son named Landon (8) and a daughter named Olivia (6). I also have an adorable puppy named Bentley. In addition to spending time with my family, I enjoy playing golf (when the weather is cool), traveling to new places, shopping, watching my kids play their sports, and listening to music.

The most important thing to remember about science, is to never stop asking questions!
