Mr. John Portier

My name is John Portier. I have been teaching in Fort Bend ISD since 2007. During that time I have primarily taught on the elementary levels, however in past few years my focus has been more on STEM based education. This will be my first year teaching at Baines Middle School. I am excited for the future ahead as a longhorn.

On a personal level I am a graduate of Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi and Lamar University. I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife and my two middle school kiddos, Cullen and Addilynn.
