Welcome to Ms. Moore's 6th-grade math class at Baines Middles School!

My name is Quanita Moore. I am blessed to have my dream job! I have wanted to be a teacher since second grade.

I believe that all students can grow, learn, and be successful. I love learning, building relationships with my students, and helping them achieve success. My educational philosophy is to empower my sixth graders to become responsible, independent learners through positive reinforcement and high expectations.  

I attended the University of North Texas for my undergraduate degree and the University of Saint Thomas for my master's degree. I enjoy spending time with family and friends in my spare time, reading, cooking, traveling, and online shopping. 

I look forward to a spectacular year!
