  • The purpose of the Cooking Club is to help increase confidence, raise  self-esteem, develop social and team-working skills.  We also  educate and empower students to make healthy food choices through hands-on activities.

    • Members must be students of BMS and demonstrate good citizenship.
    • Members must participate in planning meetings in order to participate on cooking days.
    • Members will vote on specific recipes that you wish to prepare.
    • Members will be removed from the club if they do not participate, miss more than 3 meetings, or due to bullying or discrimination.
    • Members will need to pay $40 at our September 23, 2024 meeting.

    Club Description:
    Baines 6th & 7th grade students will have the opportunity to collaborate and learn essential SafeServe responsibilities and cooking skills. Students will come together and support one another as they learn to season, cut and saute.
     
     
    Who is eligible to join:
    Open to 6th and 7th grade students. We will have an interest meeting and require dues to support the gathering of materials.
