CAMPUS COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR

  • Hello! My name is Vanessa Browning and I am the Campus Compliance Coordinator at Anne Sullivan Elementary. As the CCC, I support students, families, and staff in the areas of Special Education and Section 504. I also serve as the State Testing Coordinator for our campus. I have over 25 years of working in the special needs field and am so thankful to be in a position that allows me to serve as a support and resource for both families and staff. I was also a foster parent for 9 years for a young woman with special needs, and am a stepmother to a son with special needs. I am a graduate of Montana State University-Billings where I double majored in Special Education and Elementary Education. One of my proudest moments was coaching for the United States during the World Winter Games for Special Olympics. Please feel free to reach out at any time, we are here to do our very best for you!

  • The Campus Compliance Coordinator supports students, families, and staff in a variety of ways here at Sullivan Elementary. The job includes but is not limited to the following:

     

    • Scheduling ARD and Section 504 meetings and working with campus staff to complete these meetings
    • Completes and coordinates the paperwork required for these meetings
    • Attends monthly special education, 504, and national/state testing meetings
    • Assists with communication between assessment and related instructional services
    • Assists the campus with compliance with federal and state law
    • Maintains eligibility folders and checks for data integrity
    • Coordinates state testing programs and maintains security of testing materials
